HAVANT LIONS’ PSA TESTING 2023
PSA Testing Havant 20232022
We did our first PSA testing day with the Charity PCaSO on 23rd April 2022 at Emsworth Baptist Church Hall in Emsworth. The blood samples were analysed by Q A Hospital Portsmouth and all results were emailed.
On that day we tested 320 men, resulting in 289 were clear, 6 were advised to have another test in 12 months, 25 results were of concern and were advised to contact their doctor.
We did a second testing day with PCaSO on 26th November 2022 at The Deverell Hall Purbrook Waterlooville. The blood samples were again analysed by QA Hospital and results emailed.
On that day we tested 350 men, resulting in 316 were clear, 14 were advised to have another test in twelve month and 20 were advised to contact their doctor.
At these sessions PcaSO supplied the phlebotomists, and six volunteers. Havant Lions supplied another six volunteers, which worked very well.
